The environment is all of the factors and forces surrounding you. An environmentalist is a person who advocates and works for the protection and preservation of natural resources. The National Pest Management Association and 'AAA' Pest Management are partners in being "Guardians of Your Environment."
We are an environmentally responsible company that practices integrated pest management (IPM) ~
IPM is a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical and chemical tools in a way that minimizes economic, health and environmental risks.

'AAA' Pest Management abides by the appropriate use and applications of pesticides spelled out by the US Environmental Protection Agency and others. In Wisconsin, commercial applicators must prove their competency by passing exams administered by the department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection every five years. And we go above and beyond these minimal requirements by receiving on-going education, such as sensitive environment training in Advanced School IPM by the University of Wisconsin - Extension. Passing a rigorous exam, thereby becoming a certified 'Master' Technician by the Wisconsin Pest Control Association is another example.
Green and Organic pest programs are a natural extension of integrated pest management (IPM). These holistic methodologies tip the risk-versus-benefit equation where the benefits of managing pests remain the same, but the risks are reduced. A true Green or Organic pest management program requires regularly scheduled maintenance inspections and corrective measures when necessary. The focus of either is to be solution oriented, not chemically oriented.

Do not confuse Green or Natural with Organic! There are very specific allowances and prohibitions with respect to Organic pest management, whereas Green and Natural are much more subjective. Affiliated with the United States Department of Agriculture, the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) operates the National Organic Program (NOP) which lists basic ingredients that may, or may not be included in Organic products - some "natural" and some synthetic. While these regulations are used primarily in food processing operations which represent themselves as Organic, 'AAA' Pest Management uses NOP-compliance as its guide when designing Organic integrated pest management programs for our non-food processing clients who are interested in such a service.

At some of our locations, when wildlife such as squirrels, skunks, woodchucks raccoons and opossums take up residence in your attics, crawlspaces and under decks, 'AAA' Pest Management can often live trap the animals and humanely relocate them so they won't return.
